These quotations are the inspiration behind Phoenix Ministries and our motto of “From Ruins To Glory....... From Mortal To Immortality.”
No doubt, many of us have faced great difficulties in life that we never thought we could come through. Everything around us just came crumbling down. Our world as we knew it was reduced to ruins. It is in these times, when the arms of flesh could not reach you that the Lord Jesus Christ can move on your behalf. He willing extends His hand of Love and mercy toward you. He will call you from among the ruins and speak life to your situation. From the ashes, He will cause you to rise. From the ruins, He will build you up again. From destruction, the tender hand of the Lord Jesus Christ can raise you to glorify His Name. Yet, He will not stop there. He is more than willing to seal you with the Holy Spirit that will set you on the path from mortal to immortality.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
As we look around us we can see we are living in the climax of time by the signs the Bible has foretold. In this world of darkness and deception how do we hear God’s voice? His Voice is His Word. Thus, to accept that full Word is to hear His Voice and receive Him. While it is true that gross darkness is covering the people, yet it is also true that God has promised in the evening time it shall be Light. In Malachi the 4th chapter, the Lord has promised that before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, He will send Elijah the prophet to turn our hearts back to the true Word and not to just a form of Christianity or religion. It is by the ministry of this Elijah that we will hear the Word and Voice of God.
WITH A UNIQUE MINISTRY TAKING US BACK TO BIBLE TRUTH AND CLEARLY VINDICATED BY THE SUPERNATURAL PRESENCE AND POWER OF GOD, AS WELL AS THE PILLAR OF FIRE PROVES ASSUREDLY THAT WILLIAM BRANHAM IS THE ELIJAH THAT GOD HAD PROMISED FOR THIS LAST DAY AND THE MESSAGE HE BROUGHT IS TO TURN OUR HEARTS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FAITH.
ABOUT THE PASTOR:
Brother Kaylen Singh came from a very staunch Hindu background. At the age of 16, he would be plagued by evil spirits that would almost take his life. When these spirits would attack, he would lose the use of his hands and legs. This would be coupled with excruciating pains that would cause him to wish for death. This would go on for almost a month.
In the midst of all this anguish and distress, the Lord Jesus was moving to call His own. During this time, one of Brother Kaylen’s sisters would begin dating a Christian boy, whose dad is a pastor. Seeing the condition Brother Kaylen was in, this young man offered to bring his dad to come and pray. Having exhausted all other options his parents consented.
In his own words, Brother Kaylen would say: “I cannot remember what was said that night. I cannot remember the prayer. I also know I was not looking for God at that time but in a moment everything was changed. The hand of Jesus touched me I and could never be the same. I was definitely not looking for Jesus but Jesus came looking for me.”
Brother Kaylen was miraculously healed that night. It was that experience that would carry him through many difficult trials and persecution. If the Lord could deliver him there, then He is more than a match for any circumstance or situation. In 2002, the Lord would lead him to his beautiful wife and in 2004 Brother Kaylen and Sister Valencia were married. The Lord has blessed their union with 2 sons, Micaiah and Jeriah. It was in 2006 that the Lord will call Brother Kaylen to the ministry and in 2008 he began Phoenix Ministries. Since then, he has travelled throughout South Africa and other African countries to spread the Good News and to declare what great things the Lord has done and is doing in this end time.
